The gallery's location is exceptional: in an Art Nouveau building dating back to 1882 in the ancient Celio district, next to the Colosseum. Its cultural activities, aimed at promoting and stimulating interest and love for art, operate within an international context. It caters to a wide and eclectic audience, offering events that tend to blend different types of artistic expression, transcending the mere exhibition of works. To this end, the cultural association “Arca di Noesis”, directed by Rossana Placidi, organises debates and meetings on various topics, musical events and dance performances, poetry readings and book presentations. All this revolves around art exhibitions, which host Italian and international artists, both professional and amateur, making this an ideal place to meet and reflect on the current cultural production that the territories offer.
The venue is on the street, with a glass door, a second entrance in the entrance hall of the building at Via Ostilia 5 and a large window. It has varied walls, furnished with white panels on period bricks, with movable chains, easels and pedestals for displaying the works; it also has a private bathroom located in the courtyard.
