The "ARCA DI NOESIS Colosseo" Gallery, after the great success of the two previous exhibitions that engaged artists to pay tribute to two great writers of international renown Dacia Maraini and lsabel Allende, proposes an exhibition in homage to a witty Italian writer, known and loved by the general public also for his commitment as a cultural popularizer and interpreter of the transformations of our time. The particularity of his writing style, stimulating and not always easy to read, the success of some films based on his novels, and his presence as a television host in cultural programs of depth, make him a singular and prominent intellectual in the Italian collective imagination. It is to this role of his that we want to pay tribute.
Each artist presents a work inspired by a character, a scene, a situation, an idea pertaining to the literary production of writer Alessandro Baricco, pointing out the precise reference.
Visiting the exhibition thus creates a cultural journey and at the same time a fantastic journey among the scenes, characters, themes, and ideas born from the mind of the writer, chosen, selected and interpreted by the exhibiting artists.
Pictorial, graphic and sculptural works will be on display. The exhibition will be enhanced by events taking place during the week.
