Visitors will have the opportunity to admire the fruitful dialogue that takes place between great literature and figurative art, seeing how the artistic product is born from the fusion of diverse elements: literary skill, the painter's artistic sensibility and the subjectivity of the observer. Each artist exhibiting in this exhibition has chosen a passage from Mazzucco's vast literary work relating to a scene, character, situation or emotion that corresponds to their own artistic inclination and has provided a personal interpretation, offering the public a variety of readings.
Through Manuela Dolfin's readings “aloud” and the artists' comments, we have the opportunity to witness this fruitful encounter up close.

Manuela Dolfin will read selected passages from Melania Mazzucco's literary works, and the exhibiting artists will illustrate their works in relation to quotations taken from the same writings.
