Rossana Placidi already attended modelling and ceramics courses organised by the Ministry of Education at a very young age, held by Prof. Jacchia.
.She obtained her diploma as a teacher of preparatory schools first and then of primary schools, teaching in both state kindergartens and elementary schools.
Graduated from the University of Rome "LA SAPIENZA" in history and philosophy, she teaches in the classical and scientific state high schools in the capital city.
She has attended, over the years, other courses: sculpture and modelling clay with master Antonio Miccioli of the C.E.R. in Rome, with sculptor Marco Severini in Via della Reginella in Rome, with Claudio Valenti, Luigi Nasuti and Antonella Conte in the 'Nicola Zabaglia' school of arts and crafts.
For working with Lecce stone, he attended courses with sculptor Sandro Marinacci.
He attended courses in chalcography and graphics at the International School of Graphics 'Venezia Viva' in Venice with Riccardo Licata for experimental techniques and Nicola Sene for traditional techniques and later attended the workshop in Via Modena in Rome directed by Alba Balestra.
In 1986 he participated in the collective exhibition of graphics and engraving, 'Non solo segno' at Palazzo Valentini.
In 2002-03 he directed a clay modelling workshop at the Liceo Scientifico Statale di Roma, 'B. Russell'.
In 2008 he took part in the ninth edition of ATINART, an extemporary sculpture competition, winning an award from the jury.
He participated with the Zabaglia Association in several group exhibitions: in Via della Greca, in the ATAC museum centre and in the Latin paper mill in Via Appia Antica.
He exhibits in the cities of Marino and Tivoli.
In 2017 he curated several solo exhibitions hosted in the exhibition hall in Via Ostilia 3 B.
In 2018, he founded the cultural association and art gallery 'ARCA di NOESIS' Colosseo, which he currently directs by promoting numerous exhibitions and cultural events.
In 2021, the Arca di Noesis gallery hosted her first solo exhibition 'Vanità versus Vanitas', exhibiting sculptural works in terracotta, Lecce stone and intaglio.
In 2023, she curated and exhibited the group exhibition 'LA DONNA E IL MARE' (WOMAN AND THE SEA) with 21 artists, in the Arca di Noesis gallery.
She participated in the exhibition 'Parallel Paths' curated by Isolina Mariotti in the Spazio d'Arte 2020 Gallery.
She founded the "ARTE E LETTERATURA" exhibition with the first group show "Omaggio a DACIA MARAINI" (Homage to DACIA MARAINI), of which she was curator and exhibitor, in which 21 artists took part in the Arca di Noesis gallery.
She took part in the international art exhibition 'Incontri' curated by Sylvia Irrazabal in the Impact Hub gallery in Rome.
In 2024 she exhibited in the international art exhibition 'Reincontri' curated by Alfio Borghese in the Villa Comunale of Frosinone
She is curator and exhibits in the second edition of the exhibition 'Art and Literature: homage to ISABEL ALLENDE' in the Arca di Noesis gallery, with the participation of 20 artists
She is currently involved in the management of Gallery Arca di Noesis. She is curator of the collective exhibition "Art and Literature: homage to Alessandro Baricco," in which 23 artists participate and where she exhibits 2 of her sculptures inspired by the writer's literary work.
She participated with 2 of her sculptures, in October 2024, in the exhibition "Sin Fronteras - Without Borders," curated by Sylvia Irrazabal, in the Area Contesa Arte Gallery in Via Margutta.
