Elena Facchin is an Art teacher in a Comprehensive School in Rome. Graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, she combines classroom teaching with laboratory teaching of painting, artistic glass, mosaic, papier-mâché. Passionate about travel and photography, she worked for years in publishing at a publishing house of photography books. Having come to teaching, she dedicated her energies to instruction, education, production and conscious use of images, the expressiveness of her students, collaborating on various projects including the publication of several Institute books. In particular, in her in-depth texts, she analyzes the themes of art, women in art and Nature. For years she has been part of a multicultural female choir that addresses the themes of the mother tongue, equality and gender identity and with which she collaborated for the publication for Federcori "I Canti della lingua Madre". Over the years she has continued to paint and, recently, has started exhibiting again.
