Meghit Mohamed Larbi Ben Othmane is a contemporary Algerian visual artist and painter, born in 1993. He graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Tlemcen, specializing in sculpture, and holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from the University of Tlemcen. He also works as a professor of visual arts in Algeria.
His artistic practice explores identity, memory, beauty, migration, and the human condition through painting, drawing, and mixed media. He has participated in more than 35 exhibitions and artistic events in Algeria and abroad. In 2024, he received First Prize of the President of the Republic Ali Maachi Prize for Fine Arts.
