Marco Mancini, Tuscan (adopted Sienese), born 1960, a bachelor of arts degree cum laude, publicist journalist and communicator. Married twice, four children, a particular passion for running.
He has worked in FS Group communications since 2001, and since 2016 he has been the editor in chief of Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane’s two newspapers: the magazine La Freccia and the information website Fsnews.it. In the magazine, he has given ample space and enhanced the best artistic, literary and cultural initiatives in the country, opening it up to numerous authoritative external collaborations and placing special emphasis on the themes of inclusion and sustainability in its triple meaning. Also with the magazine in 2022/23, he was one of the creators and promoters of the literary contest “A/R Andata e racconto,” which was organized in collaboration with the Turin International Book Fair and saw the participation of more than two thousand aspiring writers and the publication of an anthology of short stories that, together with the winning ones of the contest, also includes unpublished stories signed by some of the best-known Italian writers.
