As a media industry analyst, Antonio Pavolini has spent several years exploring emerging trends and business models in the digital transition, collaborating with international universities and research institutions.
In 2016, he published Oltre il Rumore – Perché non dobbiamo farci raccontare internet dai giornali e dalla TV (Ledizioni). In 2020, also with Ledizioni, he published Unframing – Come difendersi da chi può stabilire cosa è rilevante per noi. In 2023, he published Stiamo Sprecando Internet: la riscoperta possibile di uno spazio pubblico digitale (Cesati).
Together with his wife, Barbara Goi, he runs the Art Studio La Marina gallery in Pietrasanta. He teaches Aesthetics of New Media and Sociology of Digital Media at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti in Rome.
