My name is Manuela Galati MaGa' and I am a Roman artist. Born and raised in the historic district of San Lorenzo, I attended the Art School of Via Ripetta, the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome under the guidance of Professor and Artist Michele Cossyro and then specialized in Restoration and wooden gilding and in the creation and decoration of Plexiglas furniture objects. My painting style is inspired by the concept of different repetition and by artists such as Capogrossi, Haring and Boille. I paint on canvas with enamels and acrylic colors biomorphic shapes that move in space, a unicellular universe, a microcosm in which my shapes dance and tell their stories. Their perpetual different repetition transforms painting into a Mantra. Fantastic beings that, with harmonic order, fit into the empty spaces of the canvas, a juxtaposition of forms in an imaginary pentagram that generates the melody and invites the viewer to lose himself in a non-place, in a fluid, oily space in which to float, returning to the fetal stage.
