rhinoceros gallery presents the second chapter of collaboration with François Ghebaly in Rome. With the first exhibition of this project which began in June 2023, rhinoceros gallery inaugurated a new path: pop-ups of international art galleries never represented in Italy before. The new mission of this space is to host cutting-edge art and design galleries that will lead to a new dialogue between the historical roots of rhinoceros and the current world, opening up a whole spectrum of new possibilities.
DRAWN-OUT brings together a selection of works on paper by artists Sascha Braunig, Sharif Farrag, Patricia Iglesias Peco, Meriem Bennani, Mike Kuchar, Ann Leda Shapiro, Sayre Gomez, Jessie Makinson, Danielle Orchard, Max Hooper Schneider and Ross Simonini.
The artists included in DRAWN-OUT explore how drawing relates to their artistic practices. The exhibition highlights how the world continually shapes drawing and how, in turn, drawing continually shapes an artist's practice. Each work on paper acts as a window into the artist's process, revealing the internal structure of a particular research or sensation that runs through their work.
