The contemporary painter Jūratė Bytautė, a painter, lives and works in Lithuania. The themes of
memory, everyday life and internal states are important in the author's work, and the artist's work explores through the concept of time, flow, and layers. The author's early work reveals the origins of these searches: a figurative composition that combines fragments of the household, memory, symbolism into a dreamy, somewhat surreal space whose time is experienced, as a linear procession, and as a concurrent whole of past and present. Jūratė Bytautė organizes exhibitions in Lithuania. She is often participant with exhibitions collective in Rome, in Italy.
