Dr Federico Brugnami received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree Magna Cum Laude, from “La Sapienza” University of Rome , in 1991.
After two years in general practice, he joined the Department Of Periodontology at Tufts University, Boston, where in 1995 he obtained a Certificate in Advanced Periodontics , the specialization in periodontology.
From 1995 to 1998 while he was continuing his research and teaching activities as Clinical Instructor at the same department, he also started to practice limiting to periodontology and oral implants in Rome.
In 1996 he was awarded the title of "Young Investigator Fellowship" from the 'American Academy of Periodontology, dedicated to researchers who have excelled in the field of regeneration.
In 98 becomes Diplomate of The American Board of Periodontology, the highest award for periodontists in the US and in the same year obtained a license to practice in the state of Florida.
In 99 was a visiting lecturer at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale in Florida.
Federico has lectured courses and conferences in Italy, Switzerland, UK, Austria, Austria, Bahamas, US, Holland and Japan.
Dr Brugnami is an author of numerous publications in the field of periodontology and implants. In 2014published the first book completely dedicated to multi-disciplinary therapy to regenerative orthodontics aka PAOO. Together with Dr Meuli and Dr Caiazzo he Just finished the second edition of the book with Wiley Blackwell, which is currently in printing and will be availble in November 2024.
He has been an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology since 93 and of the Italian Society of Oral Surgery and Implantology from 2012.
Dr Brugnami is an experience periodontist striving for excellent therapy and patient centered treatment.
