Painter - Artist Statement
My work is always highly focused on the figurative form, portrayed in surreal environments or centralised in a contemplative setting. I use symbolism, or reference, as I create scenes conducted with smooth strokes in vibrant colours, making use of absurdity and irony. I choose to make my works independent surrounded by specific thought, although usually working in series. I am currently making works of immaginative birds being influenced by human society called Nature Vs Nurture.
Education: Bachelor in Fine Art 2014 Flagler College, FL, USA. Awards & Grants: Diploma for academic and artistic achievements- Flagler College, USA 2014, Cultural grant: Lomma Municipality, Sweden 2016 for artistic studies through painting Experience & Exhibitions. Moving from America to Sweden to Spain and in March 2020 being based in Roma, Italy. Participation in group and solo exhibitions has been held in Sweden, USA and Spain.
