Mahmoud Elkouriny nasce a Cairo, in Egypt nel 1973, dove attualmente vive ed esercita la professione di Docente presso la Faculty of Applied Arts – Department of Interior Design & Furniture. Ma è nell' arte che il suo estro trova completezza: la sua produzione si divide tra figurativo e pittorico, nella stessa confluiscono la sua formazione accademica profondamente permeata dalla cultura araba: i soggetti diventano protagonisti di racconti ambientanti nella metropoli egiziana; nell' astratto sono i colori della sua Terra che esplodono con vitalismo sulla tela.
Membro del Movement of art resilience in Francia, in Italia elegge come suo atelier Bauhaus Home Gallery (spazio espositivo ROME ART WEEK) con la curatela di Ilaria Giacobbi.
