Hello! My name is Erika, I am actress and creator. I perform at the "Dragon Theatrer" and have been on stage for over 35 years. I've also launched my line of handmade finger puppets called "Glow Puppets." I create each puppet with meticulous care, host educational workshops featuring them, and showcase them in exhibitions. Each piece is a unique, carefully crafted work that takes time and attention to detail. I create finger puppets with distinct personalities and moods and thoughtfully designed outfits by giving materials a second life. These puppets are made individually, meaning no two are alike.
The puppets are intended for performances and help foster a close connection between children and adults. They invite everyone to showcase their acting skills and to learn about the behaviors, sounds, and lifestyles of animals represented in each character. Through performance, children can enhance their movement, pronunciation, creativity, and social skills while enjoying positive emotions.
It’s a joy to know that psychologists, child psychotherapists, speech therapists, and early childhood educators use my puppets in their work with children. They help children adapt, open up, share their feelings, and express emotions. Sewing these puppets is a passion and a creative outlet for me, filled with love and care in every stitch. My puppet was published in the international artists book “Transcendental Encouter” published with Don Armando S. Reschini Museum from Argentina, published in France 2024.
