Ann Brown is a digital artist based in Boston, Massachusetts, and founder of Ann Brown Studio. Over more than fifteen years, she has developed a body of work spanning digital watercolor, mixed-media portraiture, abstraction, imagined landscapes, and architectural compositions.
Her practice brings the fluidity of watercolor and the expressive textures of mixed media into a layered digital process. Through color, light, and composition, she transforms figures, places, and architectural forms into images shaped by memory and imagination. Her work moves between intimate, atmospheric studies and bold, structurally defined compositions, exploring silence, transformation, and the emotional presence of an image.
Her studio practice extends from digital composition and detailed image refinement to the physical presentation of the work. Selected compositions are produced as limited-edition fine-art prints on aluminum, bringing their layered surfaces and luminous color into gallery and interior settings.
