Susan Kimber, nata a Buffalo, NY, dopo la laurea al Bradford College si e trasferita a New York City nel 1965. Li ha studiato la carriera si fiber artist sotto la guida di Grau-Gariga, Grossen e altri. Dopo molti anni di realizzando ed esibendo fibra tridimensionale art lei si rivolse alla New York Studio School nel 1999 per esplorare la pittura e scultura con maestri Gagnier, Robb, Santore e altri. Ha vissuto e lavorato come pittrice qui a Roma da quando si e trasferita qui nel 2017.
