“Contemporary Stories – Visual Arts, Writings, Societies”
Studio Poerio 16/B Researching and Archiving
coordinator Anna Cochetti
Conceived by Anna Cochetti, independent curator, the Project “Contemporary Stories - Visual Arts, Writings, Societies”, was launched in June 2012 and hosted in the private space Studio Poerio 16/B Researching and Archiving.
Situated in the heart of Rome-Monteverdevecchio (via Poerio 16/b), it is, on one hand, a place (and a brand) for researching, archiving, storytelling and self-made publishing and, on the other hand, an 8 years-old curatorial project that promotes and hosts exhibitions and shows.
For the RAW 2019 edition, Contemporary Stories presents the project “Piece of broken stuff”, from an idea of Massimo Napoli – author, artist, performer and director. It is a unique single corpus of paintings – under the name of “Adamo ed Eva” and “Anatomy” – corresponding with the monologue “Piece of broken stuff”, that will be performed every day at 7 pm.
