PAOLO BIELLI - "APNEA"

"A deafening silence that redefines beauty."

Paolo Bielli presents a series of works created with colored sprays, to veil and transfigure figures traditionally associated with the world of fashion, reinventing a new, unexpected type of beauty. The works of "Apnea" arise from a powerful intuition: the inability to scream underwater, a metaphorical silence that reflects the silent and often invisible self-destruction that human beings can encounter. The figures, initially clear and perfect in their glamorous poses, are progressively blurred, their contours dissolve into explosions of vibrant color, creating an almost dreamlike effect.  This chromatic fog does not hide but reveals: not the perfection of form, but the complexity and fragility of existence. "Apnea" is not just an aesthetic exploration, but a profound reflection on vulnerability and transformation.  The colored sprays, acting like a veil that dissolves known reality, do not cloud the human being to hide him, but to reveal him in a new dimension, purified of expectations and imposed constraints. It is an invitation to look beyond the surface, to recognize beauty in mutation and fragility, even when this manifests itself as a drift towards self-destruction.
