A short walking itinerary through the courtyards and former factories of San Lorenzo, curated by artist Ada Uygan. Three stops, three ways of questioning the threshold between body, matter and perception.

1. Atelier Aspecifico – Myriam Bottazzi. In the courtyard of the Pastificio Cerere, Myriam Bottazzi's all-white exhibition space and workshop, open to the street, hosts the exhibition "3 In Risonanza" for Rome Art Week, built around three coordinates: Matter, Memory and World. Matter lies in Myriam Bottazzi's contemporary jewellery, handmade unique pieces pursuing an imperfect, asymmetrical beauty. Memory lies in Ada Uygan's video work "Cradle of Civilization", a 2026 video edition of a 2024 virtual reality installation that reimagines Göbekli Tepe, one of the oldest megalithic complexes in the world, in abstract form, asking what will define us as a society in the digital age. World lies in Silvia De Gennaro's video "Gaia: Uni(co)verso". Three gazes and three languages resonating in the same space.

2. CovoLab. Founded in 2009 in the former Viola chocolate factory, it is a multidisciplinary coworking space where painters, photographers and illustrators share space, knowledge and skills. Here visitors meet the artists Barbara Caputo, whose abstract oil painting grows out of nature and Mediterranean light; Laura Saporito, who translates landscapes and plants into essential geometries and expressive colour; Layla Ginkgo, whose ceramics bring together illustration and materiality in small, quirky, enchanted things; and Marcella Petriglia, who creates mosaics from reclaimed ceramics and Portuguese azulejos.

3. Numero Cromatico. A research centre founded in Rome in 2011, bringing together researchers from different disciplines across art, neuroscience, experimental aesthetics and the psychology of art, to produce theories and works on an experimental basis.

The curator. Ada Uygan is a multidisciplinary artist and designer who uses technology to explore the boundaries between physical and digital space. Her work ranges from installations and interactive multimedia art to theoretical research on spatial dynamics.

Atelier Aspecifico and Numero Cromatico are full stops on the tour, even though it was not possible to add them to the map.
