SottoSopra Art Studio is a cozy atelier and small exhibition gallery led by painter Rosanna Cerutti, located in the lively San Giovanni neighborhood, at Via Ardea 10 in Rome. Opened on March 2, 2024, this studio spans three levels, offering a unique and intimate experience reminiscent of the finest artistic boutiques.
Within this small gallery, the lower floor hosts a creative workshop, the heart of artistic production, where practical activities take place. The ground and upper floors are dedicated to exhibitions, creating friendly spaces where the public can immerse themselves in the displayed works, in an atmosphere that encourages dialogue and interaction.
Since its inauguration with the group exhibition "Fusion of Colors", SottoSopra Art Studio has become a point of reference for artists and art enthusiasts. The gallery not only presents the works of Rosanna Cerutti but also provides a platform for emerging and established artists, with events that include exhibitions like "Inks and Colors" and "Let It Shine."
In addition to a rich schedule of exhibitions, SottoSopra Art Studio is a cultural center hosting book presentations, cultural events, live performances, and impromptu sessions with artists. The gallery also organizes small creative workshops, such as painting workshops, diction courses, tarot workshops, and features musical CDs, making the artistic experience accessible to everyone.
The next event, scheduled for September 14, will be the group exhibition "Mediterranean and Woman."
Through its programming, SottoSopra Art Studio demonstrates that even a smaller exhibition space can have a significant impact on the artistic and cultural community, promoting creative dialogues and innovation.
