Data and contact details

Former professional photographer Monica Bisin has dedicated the past ten years to the organization of artistic events and projects, with a particular focus on photography and experimental new technologies.

Her professional journey is marked by intellectual coherence and a deep attention to the generative processes behind the artwork. Her curatorial approach goes beyond the mere selection of works or the organization of exhibitions; it is rooted in a true conceptual inquiry, placing at its core the idea and the creative thought from which every work is born.

Through a practice that privileges listening and dialogue with artists, Monica Bisin explores the landscapes of photography and contemporary visual arts, shaping exhibitions in which the works are not simply objects to be displayed, but living testimonies of a mental and design-oriented process.

In addition to her curatorial activity, Monica Bisin has also pursued for several years a personal artistic practice centered on photography and syntography, in which reflection on the original idea of the work assumes a central and foundational role.

For Monica Bisin, the artistic process is always an act of thought. The work comes into being and evolves as embodied reflection, where the image becomes a vehicle rather than an end. What matters is not the effect, but the conceptual effectiveness — the work’s capacity to activate a space of awareness within the viewer.
