I am a contemporary neo-artist, rebellious and nonconformist.

I was born in 1972 and successfully attended art school; I subsequently studied architecture, then psychology, before abandoning everything to embark on a career similar to that of many others.

Despite feeling that sense of incompleteness, perhaps out of fear of judgment and failure, I avoided listening to this impulse, leaving it locked away in my unconscious for a long time. The powerful experiences of recent years have broken the chains, freeing that strong need for expression that has completely taken over.

The years spent poring over psychology books have led me to search the unconscious for inspiration, finding in art an outlet and hidden meanings, relief, and new awareness.

My works contain multiple and often powerful symbolic meanings; they are rich in hidden conceptualisms, which can lead the viewer to leaf through them like a book. I like to present the viewer with their own personal interaction with the work, attempting to awaken hidden or dormant emotions. Many of my works are often untitled, so as not to influence this profound exchange.

My goal is to challenge the viewer to a journey within themselves.

I consider myself a courageous, warrior artist engaged in a constant and experimental search for expression and space. A three-dimensionality is always present in my works, sometimes achieved only through the use of specific paint products, other times refined through the application of objects, especially recycled ones (paper, wire mesh, barbed wire, sometimes the canvas itself).

I want to strongly counter the superficiality of modern society by drawing attention to the true essence of the self, to the recognition of those often unwelcome and deeply hidden emotions.

My works are representations of strong emotions, of rebellious, broken, and divided souls; each carries within it a part of me and my personal experiences.

Works that are sometimes disturbing but true, and that cannot leave you indifferent: that's the intent!!! Communicating and seeking out true and hidden emotions, those uncomfortable truths that life presents us with.

Since 2022, I have participated in group exhibitions in various galleries and Italian cities, registered for Rome Art Week, determined not to stop and to enthusiastically advance my artistic message.

They say about me: Casali's language is powerful, hybridized by a binary technique that combines painting and sculpture, a difficult operation that leads to a slippery and narrow path, with the danger of sliding into the abyss of banality at every turn. Our artist always manages to maintain her balance, juxtaposing the fruits of two of the classical visual arts, the two that make representation, the other world, their distinctive feature.
