Francesco Vaglica was born in 1965 in Rome where he lives and works. After graduating from the art institute of Rome, he continued his studies at the faculty of letters at the University of Rome La Sapienza. In 1996 he received the International Prize "La Plejade", Palazzo di Montecitorio. He currently teaches life drawing and painting at the San Giacomo School of Ornamental Arts in RomeSince 1987 he has taken an active part in the national artistic life and beyond. Among the exhibitions to be mentioned in 1991 Palazzo Comunale in Rieti, curated by Barbara Martusciello, 1993 Casina Pompeiana in Naples, curated by Michele Greco, and at the "Arte San Lorenzo" Gallery curated by Enzo Poel and Lorenzo Canova, in 1997 at the Logos studio in Rome, curated by Daniela Matteucci, and then in 2002 at the Academy of Egypt curated by Carmine Siniscalco. 2003, Art Center gallery in Rome as part of the Spring ARGAM 2006 Andrè gallery in Rome curated by Elise Desserne. 2011 Myth: reality, presence.
