Saturday 25 October 2025 open studio with performance to close the Rawicinarsi event organised by spazio GEM.


Rawicinarsi is a group exhibition of contemporary art that explores intimacy as a form of attention, encounter as an artistic language, and proximity as a conscious choice, capable of countering the fragmentation of the present. A visual and sensorial reflection on the act and desire of drawing closer: to others, to nature, to the past, to one's own body. The title revolves around a simple yet deeply charged verb: to draw closer. In a time when distances—physical, emotional, and cultural—seem to multiply, the artists on display propose practices and visions that attempt the opposite: to shorten, to touch, to listen, to live together. The works on display range from painting to graphic design and photography, united by an invisible thread: the tension toward something or someone. Some depict drawing closer as a slow gesture, others as a sudden impulse, still others as an impossible act, fraught with obstacles or failures.
