Antonietta Aulicino is a painter and architect with extensive experience in teaching Drawing and Art History. For many years, alongside her teaching career, she has pursued a constant artistic practice, participating in numerous group exhibitions and art competitions.
Her painting stems from a deeply introspective poetic inquiry and finds expression through the language of Lyrical Abstraction. The natural world represents the primary semantic sphere of her work: forms, atmospheres, and impressions of the landscape are filtered through a personal sensibility and transformed into a suspended, evocative dimension. She primarily works in mixed media and oil, using these techniques to explore the expressive potential of pictorial matter.
In her passionate vision, nature is not merely a subject to be represented, but an inner space, a place of emotional resonance and contemplation. Her painting thus conveys a sublimating gaze, capable of transforming the experience of the natural world into an intimate refuge—almost a form of solace in the face of the emptiness and disillusionment of the contemporary anthropological vision.
