At Spazio Eughen, where the sculptures continue to inhabit the studio in which they were created, Areta Gàmbaro chooses to remove rather than add: in place of an exhibition, an apparition.
P-Arti: parts of the body, and “arti” as both limbs and artistic disciplines. Around it, Eughen’s sculptures: the canvas enters into dialogue with them on equal terms, a hand encountering the hands that brought them into being.
This is a new work, and for the artist already the beginning of a new phase: not a point of arrival, but the first gesture of a research in progress.
Areta Gàmbaro, P-Arti, 2026. Acrylic on canvas, 110 × 145 cm.
Spazio Eughen is the studio where the artist Eughen worked, and where his sculptures have remained on permanent display. Today, his daughter Lucilla Floreancig, who has taken over the space, also serves as its curator, organising art events and exhibitions.
