Effetto Venere, between reflection and trace

OOM Glass’s artistic mirrors in dialogue with the engravings of Elisabetta Diamanti

Effetto Venere
between reflection and trace, the surface as threshold

Engravings by Elisabetta Diamanti
Artistic Mirrors by OOM Glass

The second chapter of the exhibition Effetto Venere brings together, in this new edition, the artistic mirrors by OOM Glass and the engravings by Elisabetta Diamanti, setting them in dialogue.

Two distinct artistic practices meet in their ability to transform the surface into a space of experience. On one side, reflection multiplies and alters the present; on the other, the trace records the gesture and the passage of time. Two ways of questioning the act of looking and inviting us to see beyond appearances.

Elisabetta Diamanti approaches engraving as a process of layering, in which each mark becomes a trace of time and of the transformation of matter. Her works evoke nature in a state of continuous becoming, shaped through a dense interplay of marks and rhythms.

OOM Glass transforms the mirror from a functional object into sculptural matter through artisanal craftsmanship and experimentation with the surface. Reflections, fragmentations and perceptual shifts draw viewers into the work, making them part of it.
