For over sixty years, this place was the creative heart of my father, Eugenio
Floreancig (1942-2025), an artist from Trastevere. Within these walls, steeped in
silence and colors, his artistic journey took shape: a path of introspection and,
above all, of absolute freedom. Every canvas, every sculpture, every fragment
tells the story of an artist who lived this space not only as a workshop, but also as a refuge an inner world made visible. Today, this studio reopens, offering us an
authentic place in the heart of Trastevere, filled with memory and presence. Thus
is born Spazio Eughen, a cultural association that does not only preserve the
past, but aims to be the seed of a new path: a meeting point, a laboratory of
ideas, a forge where art can continue to be born, to transform, and to dialogue
with those who enter. The space of Eughen is not just a physical place: it is fertile ground
from which a shared journey can grow, giving new life to the neighborhood and the community, in the spirit of authenticity that continues to resonate.
