A boundary is a barrier that holds back, a threshold that separates.
At times as heavy as a wall, at others as subtle as a line; sometimes visible, sometimes only perceived.
Through papier-mâché — a material both fragile and resistance — the artists have shaped a journey woven with questions and tensions:
· the desire to overcome what seems insurmountable;
· the feeling of being trapped within physical or inner limits;
· the experience of inhabiting the boundary, suspended between two worlds, two cultures, two possibilities.
The works tell the story of the human condition: the struggle against walls, the longing for elsewhere, the courage and uncertainty of those who attempt to cross.
The exhibition thus becomes an invitation to reflect: is a boundary merely a limit, or can it transform into a place of encounter and creation?
To move beyond it, however, memory is essential: the roots of the past nourish us, guide us, and allow us to live the present with our gaze turned toward the future.
The exhibit features art works by professional artists, as well as artwork by people who frequent the Bottega di Spiritree in search of a new mode of self-expression through art making.
