Federica Bertini, Phd, graduated in art history, former research doctor and research fellow, is specialized in the history of collecting and museology. Since 2015 she has been working on academic research projects that concern the use of technologies and digital tools for the enjoyment of cultural heritage, criticism and contemporary art. She has curated exhibitions, participated in several conferences, study meetings and has published and edited several volumes and specialist articles.
Together with Prof. Carmelo Occhipinti, she coordinates the LAT (Laboratorio Arte e Tecnologia), the international conference "Neologismi della critica artistica" (from 2021); the "Arte e tecnologia" series of the art history magazine Horti-Hesperidum sponsored by the Department of Literary, Philosophical and Art History Studies of the University of Rome Tor Vergata, of which she is part of the editorial board. Together with Valentino Catricalà, she edited the volume "Heritage 5.0. “Passing on Cultural Heritage, a Challenge for the 21st Century” (2023).
She teaches “New Technologies for the Enjoyment of Cultural Heritage” (MANT Master) and “Accessibility of Historical-Artistic Heritage: Interpretative Methodologies, Sensuality, Enjoyment and New Methodologies” at the Department of Literary, Philosophical and Art History Studies of the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
