Architect and painter, for many years I have carried out more than 50 artistic and architectural surveys aimed at the restoration of historical monuments with the University, Accademia dei Lincei and the Ministry for Cultural Heritage.I am qualified to teach artistic education by the Ministry of Education.

Artistic path
The pencil was the line of my life and the drawing helped me to live. Between shadows and lights there was always her, consoling and gratifying. I lived with a pencil in my hand, feeling the air and the sun on my skin to give birth to myself. The drawing is part of me. It is meditation and magical awakening of the soul.
I lived a working life drawing graphic reconstructions of architectural ornaments, statues, various artistic artifacts. This influenced my graphic and pictorial sign by acquiring its own and particular technique.
The representation of light has always been at the center of my research. My perennial dream is to always have a heart capable of listening.
This seems to me to be the most precious asset and in this sense I experience art as an emotional transmission that must not only entertain and delight the eyes but must involve the mind and soul of the people. With the combination of pure pigments that I deposit on the canvas with the tip of the brush in the form of tiny strokes, I try to achieve both maximum brightness and the fusion of colors.
Mine is a painting formed not only of technique but of thought capable of producing effects of great brightness and chromatic brilliance in the image. Certainly my technique could make one think of the Divisionist Impressionists, because this technique allowed to obtain the maximum brightness by combining the primary colors but the magic of art lies precisely in this: in knowing how to always and in any case speak to the heart, with all the languages of which it is capable.
During my artistic experience I have tried all the techniques: from pencil to ink to watercolor, from tempera to pure oil pigments that over the years I have come to prefer, I have created and elaborated drawings with Autocad, Illustrator, Photoshop and other programs.
In my professional career I have borrowed a vocation for the exactness of the stroke and the accuracy of the definition of the forms, clearly evident in my dense pictorial production. My poetry is to prefer material colors through a very personal technique that proceeds by subtle brushstrokes and small splashes of color, incessantly deconstructing and reorganizing the pictorial sign where the line is never equal to itself because now it is straight now it is sinuous, and if in a line is very thin and then it becomes thicker and thicker, mixing abstract or geometric shapes with natural ones, it is substantiated by a universal ethic that dissolves every caesura between man and cosmos and comes to grasp a suffered interiority in the human face (essentially of woman and children) as well as in the natural elements (trees, a recurring theme of my works, tormented seas and skies), in an intense and emotional language that refers to the metaphysical planes of existence.
