Born in 1967 into a family of pipe organbuilders, where it was common to see materials bow to the primacy of art. He began to paint as a child with the Genoese artist Nereo Ferraris (1911-1975) who lived with his aunt, Maria Pia Pinchi, a fundamental figure in his cultural and artistic development. Between 1989 and 1996 he came into contact with Aurelio De Felice (1915-1996), who suggested to focus his artistic development by drawing on his own expressive world. This led him to what Maurizio Coccia has defined as Pincbau, that is to say, the construction of works scrap materials resulting from the restoriation of antique pipe organs or from those built by his own family.
He began his public career in Foligno, at the invitation of Foligno’s Municipality, with the exhibition “Organbuilding Rebirth Project” (May-June 2011) held at the Palazzo Trinci Museum under the curatorship of Maurizio Coccia. In June 2011 he participated, upon the invitation of Vittorio Sgarbi, in the Venice Biennale-Umbria Pavilion, under the curatorship of Gianluca Marziani. In October and December 2011 he was in Basel, where he exhibited at the Zwinglihaus Cultural Center and at the Blackwall Gallery under the curatorship of Maurizio Coccia.
From June to October 2012 he exhibited his own sculpture “David” in Spoleto at the “+50• Sculture in Città” exhibition during the Festival dei Due Mondi under the curatorship of Gianluca Marziani. This sculpture was part of the installation “David and Golyath” with Cristiano Carotti and the original soundtrack by Alessandro Deflorio. At the end of the exhibition the work was donated to the city of Spoleto and was acquired in 2014 by the Palazzo Collicola Arti Visive Museum.
In May/June 2014 he held his second double personal “Duetto in Materia di Musica” together with Domenica Regazzoni in Milan at the Artespressione Gallery, under the curatorship of Matteo Pacini.
In November 2015 he participated, at the Complesso Monumentale del Vittoriano in Rome, with the double personal "Tra Materia ed Anima, tra Memoria e Tempo" togheter with A.T. Anghelopoulos, curated by Claudio Strinati.
In February/March 2016 he was in Bari, where he exhibited at the Ninni Esposito Arte Contemporanea under the curatorship of Francesca Briganti. In May he's in Florence at the Galerie Clichy curated by Lauretta Colonnelli. Always in May he held his first exhibition in Bruxelles at the XNOVODESIGN under curatorship of Sveva Manfredi Zavaglia.
In January 2017 he exhibited at Honos Art Gallery in Rome with the solo show "Tutto si concede a chi porta Luce" curated by Gianluca Marziani.
