Luca Caridi, aka Caùl, is a visual artist and performer. His artistic path has never been influenced by any academic institution. Caùl starts from research, from reflecting on themes on which he can make art or perform. His time is therefore mostly dedicated to the research. He enjoys withdrawing into himself, in the “fertile void,” defined by the philosopher Friedlander as a prelude to the creative act.
More recently, his interest in performance art has increased, as it is more focused on generating a feeling and reaction, rather than contemplation.
In 2024 he attended the short course in Performance art, taught by Marta Jovanovic, at the Rome University of Fine Arts (RUFA)
He has exhibited at the Museum of Roman Civilization in Rome, among others, and performed at RUFA and Vaccheria in Rome, as part of the RiscARTI 2024 Festival.
