Natalia Lombardo was born and lives in Rome. She has always been active in the forms of artistic expression, such as her training at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome (student of Antonio Scordia) and as a graphic designer. Specialized in Engraving at the School of Arts and Crafts in via San Giacomo in Rome, a technique learned with the master Guido Strazza at the Academy, she has now returned with passion to the chalcographic art, which is particularly congenial to her. At the end of the 80s she approached the world of publishing through illustrations for newspapers, magazines and poetry magazines, and has been a professional journalist since 1989. At the same time she has always carried out her research in contemporary art: in painting with works close to the Informal (using mixed techniques, acrylic, oil, paper, sand) and, in recent times, she has been experimenting with all the techniques of engraving. For years she has created artistic ceramic works, she has experience in sculpture on Lecce stone and in the imaginative use of paper and papier-mâché for educational and creative workshops with children and teenagers.
In 2022 she won the “Sguardo di donna” award (for painting) organized by Il Tempo delle Donne, with the work “Buio”.
