The hungarian Academy, located in the heart of Rome, is the cultural and scientific section of the Embassy of Hungary.
The aims is to mediate between Hungarian and Italian culture and constitute a meeting point for Hungarians in Rome.
The Academy of Hungary in Rome has been operating since 1927.
Its headquarters, Palazzo Falconieri, dates to the 17th century, and rtepresents a successful masterpiece of the artist Francesco Borromini. Nowadays it represents the artistic and intellectual hub of the encounter between Italian culture and the Hungarian culture.
It is a flowrish and beating heart of initiatives, meetings, installations, concerts and theatrical performances, reflecting values and principles such as hospitality, respect and tollerance by proposing emerging talents and promoting initiatives and events.
