András Simon

(Budapest, February 4, 1958 - Budapest, March 23, 2024) was a Hungarian graphic artist. His work can be divided into two main lines: classic drawings that evoke the dream world of Bosch, where the artist's extraordinary drawing skills combine with a light and generous playfulness and elegant humor. The other line would be his characteristic world of “one-line drawings.” These are a sort of trademark of the artist's professional work, praised by notable figures in the creative world such as Piroska Szántó, Anna Jókai, Péter Esterházy, and Vladimir Szabó, a student of Csók.

The Hungarian Academy will be closed to the public on October 23
