In its third year of activity, ETworks Studio presents a solo exhibition by artist Ennio Tamburi for the first time, dedicated to the series of works Licht im Dunkeln (Light in Darkness), created in 2014.
The use of black in the work of the Marche-born artist intensified in the last years of his life, not so much because of a melancholic conception of reality, but rather because of an extreme need for a synthesis of signs and forms that seems to elude colour to focus on modules, scores, and contrasts within the painting.
ETworks Studio preserves the legacy of the visual artist Ennio Tamburi, one of the leading exponents of Italian pictorial abstraction. ETworks Studio is a new exhibition space opened in 2022, in the heart of the historic and vibrant San Lorenzo district by Vanessa Tamburi and curated by Roberto Lacarbonara to stimulate dialogue between the now historicist work of Ennio Tamburi and that in full swing of contemporary artists, both living and dead, who share Tamburi’s aesthetic and ethical principles. The space approaches San Lorenzo as an international headquarters. The works on display reveal a broad and global view of today's contemporary art.
