Il Sole Gallery was founded in Rome in 1993 by Fabio Ortolani, in via Alessandria, not far from the MACRO Museum which would open in October 2002. In almost twenty-five years we have organized more than a hundred exhibitions. In January 2018 the Gallery moved from Via Alessandria to Via Nomentana, 125 (Rome).
Data and contact details
The Il Sole Contemporary Art Gallery was born in Rome in 1993 from an idea by Fabio Ortolani, in via Alessandria, a stone's throw from the future MACRO. In almost twenty-five years he has organized more than a hundred exhibitions. In 2018 the Gallery moved to its new headquarters in Via Nomentana, thus increasingly consecrating its nature as a constantly changing living space. A container animated by the works of its artists and the renewing action of the people who live it.
