Roberta Pugno's Open Studio

FROM MATTER TO LINE.
Roberta Pugno proposes her pictorial work and her research of thought that, always lived in close relationship with each other, flow between two poles: matter, as the origin of life and matrix of movement, and line, the highest human creation that, in art, can be a perceptible sign or an invisible companion of the "sound" and color of images.
From works on paper, immediate and light, to large textural canvases, deep forms of irrational imagery, the artist presents his 30-year world of research accompanied by catalogs and a wealth of explanatory material.
The six-volume box set of PSYCHE and ART, a new collective exploration of art and the human, from its origins to the present, will be available in the studio.
