13 Chinese painters from Sichuan will hold an exhibition of paintings in Rome. Each work in the exhibition is not only full of Oriental culture elements, but also contains modern visual experience in the modern time of globalization.
Salvatore Quasimodo (1901-1968) wrote in his poem On the Island:
A Hill, the symbols
of time, the mirror of mind
continuous, motionless,
listening to themselves, await
the future answer. This hour of ours
appears without warning, a narrow beam
in the harmonic labyrinth.
This exhibition of Chinese artists is just like this and well surely bring us different experiences of places, countries and cultures.
