Gio Montez's works are characterised by the strong presence of primeval elements, inspired by the primirivism and the urban art of late 1900 and early 2000s.
On the occasion of the Rome Art Week 2018, Montez welcomes the visitors in his studio where he is working on the cycle "Negritudine", expressing the so-called pop-primitivism whose origins lie in Montez's travels to Cuba and Morocco.
The studio will be open from 6 pm until 10 pm.
