In the rustle of leavesProject of the artist Prisca Baccaille for a Show at Gallery UNO, Berlin, in 2023Current painting production focuses on the relationship between intention and chance. The goal of her work is to find a balance between the artist's intention and the random legacies of painting. Through daily layers of color, the painting grows, sediments, builds: in its progress it reveals unpredictable behaviors, discoveries to adapt to, deviations to follow.Main subject and source of inexhaustible inspiration is nature. The starting point of the works is to be in places: to walk through them, breathe them and choose to listen to them. What results is the gradual construction of a place of refuge where one can stay and slowly lose oneself.
