Evandro Gabrieli Gallery & Studio presents Weavings – Within and Beyond, a group exhibition bringing together the works of Laura Anfuso, Evandro Gabrieli and Lucia Sforza, offering a journey of exploration in which the concept of weaving opens onto a material, symbolic and perceptual dimension.
The project explores the weave as an invisible and generative structure: a field in which gesture, matter and time intertwine, giving shape to narratives that transcend the boundaries of the artistic object to become an experience. The works on display engage in dialogue with one another as open systems, poised between fragility and resilience, layering and subtraction.
The collaboration with GART – GardenArt further strengthens the research-oriented dimension of the project, opening up a reflection on the relationship between artistic practice and natural processes, between construction and continuous transformation.
Weavings – Within and Beyond is part of the gallery’s ongoing commitment to experimentation and to encounters between different artistic languages, continuing a curatorial direction focused on dialogue between materials, disciplines and contemporary visions.
