The Giulio Bradamante Open Studio opens the doors to the place where painting is born, takes shape and continuously transforms.
A contemporary painter, Bradamante explores the possibilities of abstract art through matter, gesture, colour and layering. His work does not seek to reproduce a recognizable reality, but rather to create an emotional and visual space where colour and marks can express what words often cannot.
Entering his studio means getting closer to the creative process: encountering works in progress, finished paintings, experiments, materials and fragments of ongoing research. It is a constantly evolving environment, where each painting preserves the traces of decisions, layers, erasures and gestures that have shaped it.
Bradamante’s painting develops through a spontaneous dialogue between instinct and control, between matter and surface, between painterly gesture and silence. Colour becomes presence, the mark becomes memory, and matter becomes the place where the work records the passage of time.
The Open Studio is not simply an exhibition, but an opportunity to encounter the artist and his creative practice more closely, entering the intimate space of his research before each work leaves the studio and begins its own journey.
An invitation to look at painting up close.
Not only at what appears on the canvas, but also at everything that happens before.
