Project Burattino

 Artist: Hervé-Lóránth Ervin

Curator: Marco Pesci

The rushing world of the XXI century is characterized by the lack of human communication and moral content and by the untrue sayings. The rumours, the tabloids and the vain are appearing as in the everlasting story of Burratino. The discredited spoken world is lost in the conversation, leading into illusions the spectator and the listener, who is looking desperately for the way out in the maze of truth, to the road to our inherent truth. The symbol of our self-recognition is the eternal tale, which provokes inaction, constant harshness or indifference. Burattino’s ageless glamor to the world, does not protect him from its cruelty, from the lifeless, virtual lies of our age, into which he is slowly located, accepting the mark as his ticket of forgiveness, which is an important stage of his life to become living. His sweetness, his innocence is a symbol for many generations, his evocative phenomenon is the projection of his diversity and inner harmony to the outside world, although his struggle is a sign: The long nose of the age of injustice…
