Part of Patrizia Genovesi’s exhibition project IDENTITY, “New Forms of Living” explores contemporary residential neighborhoods in Copenhagen.
Through photographs and videos, the section examines the evolution of Danish architecture, situated between efficiency, sustainability, and spatial rationalization.
Modular shapes, extensive use of glass and industrial materials, prefabrication and standardization define an essential and orderly aesthetic — widely admired on the international stage.
Yet, beyond this architectural effectiveness, questions arise about the lived experience: intimacy, sense of belonging, relational diversity, and urban engagement.
The installation incorporates images, video projections, QR/NFC interfaces and narrative elements, offering a critical perspective on the relationship between design and everyday life.
