At Nam, Via di Priscilla 13, Rome – a beautiful space born to host eco-design that, in recent years, has also dedicated a corner to contemporary art.
The exhibition presents my works from the past two years: paintings and digital overlays of Divers on the Thread. A reflection, a change, or simply a dive on a thread of wool, exposed to the gentle or powerful winds of life.
Techniques include acrylic on wood for the pictorial series and digital collages for the photographic part. Dreamlike, poetic, melancholic or uplifting, the dives are powerful gestures and flashes of thought capable of reversing the course or immersing us in a beneficial suspension.
I exhibit in a group show alongside Roberta Conigliaro, a poetic sculptor, and Caltanino, an iron-bender who transforms metal into divers and a designer of posters that celebrate the form of words.
