The gallery opens its doors to an intimate yet rigorous journey into the language of still life, a genre that Yana Rikusha, a Russian painter with an international background, has reinterpreted with elegance, technical mastery, and a personal touch capable of bringing everyday objects and presences back to life.
After professional experiences far from the art world, the artist embraced painting as a vital necessity of expression. From her first spontaneous sketches to her in-depth training with master Nikita Krapivin, Rikusha has developed a pictorial practice that weaves together memory, perception, and figurative tradition. Her painting engages in dialogue with the great masters of the past, from Caravaggio to Bruegel, while renewing itself through a contemporary sensibility.
Her canvases, painted from life, evoke suspended atmospheres where time seems crystallized in light, reflections, and meticulous detail. Each composition becomes a silent narrative: fruits, flowers, books, and glasses transform into actors on a stage vibrating with meaning and memory, leading the viewer to rediscover the poetry of everyday life.
Alongside the solo exhibition, visitors will have the opportunity to take part in two workshops designed to approach figurative painting and still life drawing.

With this solo exhibition, Yana Rikusha invites us to contemplate still life as both a mirror of time and a guardian of emotions. A journey that is at once a return to roots and a leap towards new possibilities, intertwining past and present in a painting that restores voice and soul to objects.
