ARTISTIC PORTRAITS

As part of initiatives aimed at promoting artworks and artists, the Cultural Association *SPAZIO MECENATE* is pleased to present the innovative channel of *author portraits*, highlighting the work of visual artist “QVANTO” aka Max Ruggiero, recognized as one of the most influential and important visualizers in the advertising sector.

Already in 2015, he began his project of “defining a quantum space” named QVANTO, and within this context, the reevaluation of portraiture as an iconic object that has more possibilities of being preserved over time takes shape.

The purpose of this project is to create *artistic portraits* in a Quantum style, commissioned from personal photographs or taken at an affiliated photography studio. 

In defining a quantum space applied to portraiture, the artist has produced a series titled *Mug Shots*, featuring the police mugshots of famous criminals. In the quantum sense, the images have given life to figurative paths in unimaginable spaces, like neo-icons projected into the future.
